After narrowing down my initial ideas, here is my final concept idea.
Concept defined
To encourage members of Girl Guiding UK who are of the right age to attend a World Scout Jamboree. This is the main aim, within this concept I will also be aiming to:
- educate people on what a jamboree is
- share the positive effects on the world Jamboree's have
- show how Guides who have been on international trips go on to do great things
- change stereotypes about guiding, by showcasing the fun activities, and showing that it is not geeky or boring; therefore encouraging guides to stay in girl guiding
Rationale defined
I will do this by creating an information pack, which is attractive and also multi-functional with different uses. My graphic response will explore an investigation into publishing and editorial, as well as information and way finding. I will look at what printed material is already available to guides in the UK, as well as researching successful printed graphic design pieces that may be of inspiration to my progress.
