Here are some photographs from our tour of Team Impression printers, Leeds. This was an incredibly useful, detailed tour of the facilities, where every step of the printing process was talked through with us. From the plates, to the proofing, printing, cutting, folding, foiling, and more, everything is done with the one company. This tour helped to bring together everything that I have learnt so far about print production, so now I feel more confident for when I do eventually need to print commercially. It was so interesting to see the process in real life.
We were kindly given a book from team, 'Process is Form' designed by Design Project. This is a beautifully designed book, showing examples of different print finishes.
