Following on from the time sequencing workshop, this is my response to the task.
From each of your five ideas on the storyboards you have done prior to this workshop, choose your best one and map it to a timeline - you work out how you are going to do this. This should give you the plans for your after effects video. Document any mistakes you make. These are due in for the workshop on Tuesday 13th.

Which one works best?
1. STRETCH. I don't think such a long timeline was necessary for such a short sequence, especially as the key moments are so spread out, and the time line just gets annoying and unnecessary and hard to transport around without creasing.
2. EXPAND. This is a simple to understand timeline, however, for a longer sequence, I would use more lines and probably end up placing the key frames horizontally.
3. STRETCH. I think this timeline was a good size, but the way I have layed out the key frames actually makes it look confusing, I think I did this as a bit of an experiment and more to make the timeline look good that actual for it to work the best. Overlapping is not a good idea as it just gets confusing so I won't be doing this again.
4. STRETCH. Despite this one being a long timeline which I found difficult to carry without creasing, the longer timeline worked better here when placing images horizontally as it made the most sense, and would allow for annotations and any arrows to fit on. If I was including more key frames on my timeline, this would be the perfect way of working, so I think this is the timeline I will use for my future timelines.
5. EXPAND. This is probably my favourite sequence in terms of the design, but the way I have placed the key frames on the timeline makes it quite confusing which way up the design would be.

The credit card size fits perfectly into the 6cm gaps on my 60cm timeline when places vertically, fitting these short sequences perfectly. I need to include the title safe action frames when developing my sequence for my timeline so when I come to make my sequence digitally, I am sure that none of the key action is lost.
