Good Is... Content for Information Pack (Before Crit)

Content for information pack

It has been quite easy gathering the content for the information pack, as I can write about my own experience, and I have also gathered so much information about the Jamboree's over the summer. The hard part has been trying to arrange this information in a clear way that suits the style of my project. Here are some design ideas I have worked on, to show at my next crit.

I have decided each page with have two columns, to make the text as easy to read as possible. Each page will have the same layout to continue with consistency.

There has been lots to think about in this information pack, and I want to make it as realistic as possible, so here is an example of a page containing all the important information.

I decided to include some hand drawn illustrations in the book, which will go alongside the photographs from the Jamboree website that I will include. This relates to the style of the girl guiding magazines, and will give the book a more informal touch. These illustrations relate to content of the page they will be placed on. I might not use all of them in the final book as I am not completely happy with the quality of all of the illustrations.

Here is an example of how I have used the illustrations in my design. It might be a good idea to include photographs on the same pages as illustrations, for a good mix, but up to now this is a page layout that I am quite happy with:
