This idea is inspired by looking at logo design for museums, such as the Natural History Museum, where the logos are versatile and can be used across a variety of designs.
For example, the logo can work on top of a texture, or with the texture as a fill for it.
I noticed a few mistakes with the logo, so here is the corrected one:
Manchester is bolder with a stroke as well as a width, the word is the same size as the m, so the focus is on manchester, and craft and design fits under cd. I am quite pleased with my first proper attempt in to branding, now it needs to be applied to a variety of business stationery.
