Ben Mayfield, LCA DFGA
Ben is a 3rd year Digital Films Games & Animation student at Leeds College of Art. I haven't designed for a male audience/ client before, so I think this is a good idea. Ben asked me to design his branding after being impressed by my business card so this is a good sign!
Ben is going for a professional, modern look. He didn't really have any ideas in mind for what he wanted, so left it up to me.

Thinking rounded corners would work well with the use of an image. An idea is to print the cards on moo.com, so that I can print a set with a different image on the front of each card.
... Possibly a coloured background to contrast with the white on the front? These are two colours picked out of the train image, and Ben said he liked the green best.
After showing these designs to Ben, he said he wasn't happy with the font choice, and suggested a font called Zag, which I have applied to the cards.
This is where I am up to with the business cards at the moment, and where I will leave it until I have some more time to work on this after the module, and until Ben has some more work for me to include in his branding.
