How should the text be featured on my designs? I've been playing about with how it could be positioned featuring the colours I've decided on. Some of the text is going to be quite a small size so legibility is key.
I like this style but think longer words and quite small text would be hard to read.
Not sure whether it works better lower case or uppercase, but I do like it with the shadow behind it. Think the kerning should just be about average, not too close and not too spread out.

Here I've been playing about with arranging the different elements together in to a bit of a pattern with the text and icons. I think its about getting the right mix, too simple means the design doesn't look finished, but too much is just a bit annoying to look at and doesn't work.
I'm really happy with this final design and think everything is a good size and I'm happy with the positioning. I've tried to line up the words to the edges of the icons. I can use this design for some of my products, such as cards, postcards, poster prints, and to place on to items such as the mouse mat.
