If I can think of a good idea, I want to put my final book in to some sort of context - rather than it just looking good, I want it to have a purpose. Following some of the interesting ideas I heard in thursday's image session where everyone presented their idea, I want to think about how I can cover some other areas to take this further than just being a book.
CONTEXT //
- Could be released in conjunction with something else, such as advertising National Trusts gardens being open for Summer
- Could be to do with a secret garden exhibition
- I saw this article in the Stylist magazine, about the 30th birthday of Puffin Classic's cult children stories, and thought it could be something to do with that. Such as a special edition celebrating this occasion.
TAKING IT FURTHER //
- It could contain seeds for the reader to grow their own secret garden
- Could be a bit of a gift set with posters, postcards etc...
- Book could be packaged as if hidden under plants...
