Digital Design Production... Silent Movie... Sequence 3

I found the timeline on this storyboard really useful, as it was the first sequence where it really mattered what was happening at what stage. I think I have found a really good font for this sequence, and using stroke outline will allow me to change the colour inside as well, as featured in my storyboard.

I did lots of experimenting with the positioning of things to make sure everything would fit.

Here is the video for the 1st part of storyboard.

To get the second part right, I need to keep the timing equal as it is in the storyboard because otherwise it doesn't look right - I tried to make it faster and the different changes become less obvious which again didn't look right.

Here is my video to show 2 seconds:

And 3 seconds:

I created the sequence as I had done on the storyboard, but I found it was a bit too simple, as all I was editing was position and fill colour. I decided to try experimenting with scale as well, to make it more obvious that my word is expanding.

Here is my final video. While the idea behind this may not be complicated, getting each letter where it should be at a certain time, and sorting out the colour animator, to make sure that everything was working in time, was very complicated, however, I am really happy with this sequence.
