Turning this storyboard into a sequence:
Knowing things I have learnt from the workshops will make creating these movies so much simpler. Just through creating two of my idents, I feel I have learnt so much, so hopefully when I have finished creating these sequences I will feel confident with after effects. Now I can use the parent/child relationship, to mean that turning things at the same time is perfect, where previously I struggled for ages to try and get it to look right but to no luck!
On screen, I'm not liking either the colour or font choice. The font needs to represent expanding but also needs to look good. I already considered font choices in the very first task for this module [see blog post], but I have since downloaded lots of fonts, and as this task was ages ago I want to re-look at it to create a better looking sequence now I am able. Here are a few possible choices:

I have now chosen a possible new colour and font choice:
I have altered the positioning of the anchor point to allow the action to turn as planned:
So, its looking how I planned it to in the storyboards but it just looks too simple, so maybe I can try some effects, although it does say in the brief to keep in simple. Instead of just appearing on screen as initially planned, I have started the shape off with a very low opacity than gets higher, and then, at the end of the video, it zooms in.
I could use a stroke instead of black box around the letters. I tried a few other things, but decided to leave the sequence as it was as I didn't think there was any improvement needed.
